More About Our Hosts
Doug Rainey, CEO Project Y Biotech, Owner of Athletic Integrative Medicine (AIM)
Mr. Rainey is a Kinesiologist by trade with an extensive background in Medical Sales and product development. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson’s Depuy Mitek Sports Medicine division where he was initially introduced to regenerative therapies such as PRP and bone marrow, and since has been a part of over 30 different companies in various capacities
ranging from a general “sales rep” to “manufacturing and production consultant for new technologies.” Along the way, Mr. Rainey has gained significant experience in the conditions, treatments, and protocols in verticals of medicine such as Orthopedics, Pain Management, Medical Aesthetics, super-longevity and Anti-Aging, Wound Care, Acute Trauma, and Chronic
Disease Management. As a natural progression within this journey of manufacturing and product development, Mr. Rainey inadvertently became a subject matter expert in the regulatory space as it pertains to non-FDA Approved biologics as this language is relevant to nearly all of the products that he encountered in these various medical verticals.
This diverse background was always superseded by a passion for the more clinical and technical side of the industry, and this requirement of an evidence-based direction is the rationale for the continued progression of PYB and AIM.
